A customer hands over a five-dollar note and a stack of riel for a $9.75 bill. At a busy counter, working out the change in your head is where mistakes happen. BrownPOS does that sum for you, in both currencies, every time.
The total in both currencies
Prices are set in dollars and the till shows the total in riel right under it, at the exchange rate your shop sets. Nobody has to reach for a calculator before telling the customer the price.

Paying with both at once
On the payment window, tap the notes the customer gives you, in dollars and in riel. The till counts both and shows the change. In this sale at Sanriya Café, $5 and 20,000 riel pay a $9.75 bill, and the change is 500 riel.
When a customer pays a $12.25 bill with a $20 note, the till gives the change as $7.00 and 3,100 riel, the way people here expect to receive it.

A drawer that adds up at night
At closing, the day summary shows what the drawer should hold in dollars and in riel separately, along with how every sale was paid. Counting the drawer becomes a check, not a search for a missing few thousand riel.
