We use cookies to see how the site is used and to make it better. Nothing but the essentials runs until you say yes.
Only your answer to this question. It is kept in your own browser, never sent to us, and it is what stops the question being put to you again on every page. There is nothing to switch off: without it there would be nothing to remember.
Anything that remembers how you like the site — the language you read in, light or dark, a form you had begun. Switch it off and everything still works; the site simply starts fresh each time instead of picking up where you left it.
Anything that counts what is read, so we know which pages are worth writing. Our own counting is already cookieless and names nobody, so this switch is for the tools beyond it, such as Google Analytics, which do set cookies and do build a profile.
Anything that measures how quickly pages load and reports what went wrong, so a slow page or a broken one can be found and fixed. It watches the page rather than the person reading it.
Anything that lets us show BrownPOS to you on other sites, and tells us when an advert brought you here. This is the one that follows you beyond brownpos.com. Nothing in it runs until you agree to it.
